Common Name- Brown Quail
Scientific Name- Coturnix ypsilophora

Location- Outskirts of Port Macquarie

Post Production- cropped, adj WB, cloned out some dark specks on the water, toned down some bright orbs/specks of sand, selective sharpening, lifted some shadows on the back feathers, contrast+11, saturation+7 - in LR Classic. NR with Topaz DeNoise & resized for forum using picresize.com.

Notes- Last shot of the day in the late afternoon at Quail Wonderland. Had been refilling this puddle over several afternoons trying to obtain a decent full reflection image. Hardest part was trying to get a single bird isolated without half a million of its mates running every which way. Finally had some luck and came away with a shot I’m pretty pleased with.
